Dear friends,

Every year to honor Veterans Day on November 11, the Vietnamese American community organizes a Love and Caring Luncheon at the Saint Vincent de Paul’s dining hall in San Rafael. This year, besides the free lunch with delicious home-made Asian cuisines, we will also give away 100 tote bags with gifts for those in attendance, many of whom are veterans. I hope the philanthropists in our community would lend support to this project so we could help those who are less fortunate than us.

Each tote bag will have a $10 value approximately. There are many ways you can support, either through a check, cash or these following items as gifts in the tote bags:

  • Toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, waterless shampoo, water bottle, chapstick, lotion, band-aid, razor, and wet wipes
  • Winter clothing such as hat, gloves, raincoats, jackets, and socks

You can drop off these gifts or mail a check to our office at 851 Irwin St, Ste 201, San Rafael, CA 94901. Please make check payable to “Marin Asian Advocacy Project/MarinLink” to receive a tax deduction for the charity cause.
